Courtyard Chicago Elmhurst/Oakbrook Area Hotel, Elmhurst

The hotel is located by a very busy crossing of two main roads, which might not be ideal for those seeking a quiet stay. The rooms were nice and clean, providing a comfortable environment, although there was a strong scent of cigarette smoke and Axe body spray to mask the odor. The service was impressive; despite a minor inconvenience of a morning evacuation, the staff were super helpful and even upgraded my room upon request. The dining options were limited and highly priced, disappointing considering the price paid. The location, while convenient for specific needs, might not suit all guests due to the bustling surroundings.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room had been mysteriously changed to a room with two double beds, though it was comfortable and overlooked a small river with ducks in it. The staff truly enjoyed their work positions and were genuinely happy to be there, although there was a slight incident where they rudely advised that the boys each took too much and it would be at least 10 minutes before more was ready. The location was fine for the purpose of our visit, though it was a bit tricky to get to, being by a very busy crossing of two main roads. The dining experience was complimentary, but I was disappointed that it's no longer included in the rate. As for the facilities, they were adequate for a short stay.
